👋 Who is this for?
The Effective Altruism Summit in Paris, where talks and workshops will be held in French, is for anyone who wants to think about the best ways to make a positive impact in the world and how to apply them.
Whether you are a student, at the beginning or end of your career, or simply curious to learn more about effective approaches to helping others, this event is for you. We enthusiastically welcome people from all backgrounds looking to get involved, whatever form that commitment may take.
This day is especially (but not exclusively!) designed for those who wish to discover effective altruism and its principles, and explore how to put their skills, time or resources to causes where they can have the greatest positive impact. If you're wondering how to use your talents to make a meaningful difference, or simply want to learn more about effective altruism, this event is for you.
We would also like to welcome French-speaking mentors: professionals in effective altruism organizations or related cause areas, and those who otherwise have significant engagement with the EA movement and community. Your experience and knowledge about the EA professional network will be an invaluable resource to help those newly discovering effective altruism, and we aim for the event to provide useful information and networking opportunities for mentors.

An intense day of conferences, workshops and discussions for everyone wishing to discover high-impact projects to face the biggest challenges of our era.
Join us for this day of discovery and exchange around the tools and principles of effective altruism in Paris. On the program: conferences on current world issues, projects with exceptional impact, exciting meetings and discussions with people with similar interests and a wide range of backgrounds, and inspiring feedback from people involved in this movement.
You’ll explore different paths to impact, deepen your understanding of today’s pressing challenges, discover promising solutions, and connect with a diverse community of people who share your motivation to make the world a better place. No prior knowledge is required, simply the desire to increase the impact of one's efforts, to improve the world.
