有效利他台灣峰會將於 2026 年 8 月 1 日在張榮發基金會國際會議中心舉行，此次活動將是台灣首場有效利他主義（Effective Altruism, EA）為主題的大型會議，邀請不同背景的學生與工作者，一同思考如何更有效地改變世界。
這場活動將透過主題演講、討論與交流活動，帶你深入認識有效利他的概念，並探索具體影響力行動方向與機會，從中也能認識更多關心全球議題、重視理性與實證，也希望把想法轉化為行動的台灣人。
活動內容
有效利他台灣峰會的活動內容將包含：
- 主題演講與討論：我們將探討當前世界面臨的重要挑戰，包括全球健康與發展、動物福利、AI 安全等議題，並討論如何運用實證研究、理性思考與分析，找到更有影響力的行動方向。
- 交流與社群活動：活動中也會安排交流與互動，讓參與者有機會交換想法，認識同樣關心高影響力行動的人。
活動對象
這場活動適合以下對象：
- 正在探索未來職涯的學生：如果你正在思考如何將過往所學轉化為更有意義的職涯，有效利他的觀點能幫助你更清楚地思考並釐清下一步。
- 想發揮社會影響力的工作者：如果你正在思考如何把自己的專業、時間與能力投入到世界上重要且被忽視的問題，這場活動會讓你認識更多志同道合的同儕與行動機會。
- 關心全球議題與國際時事的公民：如果你對全球健康、動物福利、AI 安全、氣候變遷、長期未來或其他重大議題感興趣，這場活動能帶給你不一樣的啟發與深度的討論。

報名流程
報名將於近期開放，流程如下：
- 填寫簡短報名表：報名表約需 5 至 10 分鐘填寫，我們會詢問你的背景、感興趣的內容，以及參加活動的動機。
- 收到審核結果：我們預計在收到申請後的 10 個工作天內回覆結果。
- 確認報名：若申請通過，你將收到確認信，信中會包含活動報到與相關注意事項，你也可以在同時表達願意擔任此次活動志工的意願。

EA Summit: Taiwan will take place on 1 August 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan at Chang Yung-Fa Foundation International Convention Center (No.11, Zhongshan S. Road).
This is the first effective altruism (EA) conference in Taiwan, bringing together students and professionals who want to think seriously about how to do the most good in the world. Whether you're just beginning to explore EA or have been following it for a while, this is a chance to learn from engaging talks, connect with like-minded people in Taiwan, and discover concrete ways to take action.
Program
The agenda for EA Summit: Taiwan will include:
- Talks and discussions on pressing global challenges, including topics such as global health and development, animal welfare, and AI safety, and how evidence and careful reasoning can guide us toward greater impact.
- Networking and social activities to build connections with fellow attendees.
Who should apply?
This event is for you if:
- You are a student exploring how to make a meaningful difference, curious about how EA ideas can help you navigate your next steps with clarity and purpose.
- You are a professional looking to align your work with the world's most pressing problems, and wanting to connect with others who share that goal.
- You care about staying engaged with global ideas and challenges, and are looking for thoughtful conversations that connect to the broader international EA movement.
You don't need any prior knowledge of EA to apply. If you're not sure whether this event is right for you, please apply anyway — we'd love to hear from you.
Application Process
Applications will open soon. Here's what to expect:
- Complete a short application (~5–10 minutes). We'll ask about your background, interests, and motivation for attending.
- Hear back from us. We'll aim to respond within 10 business days.
- Confirm your registration (~5 minutes). If accepted, you'll receive an email to confirm your spot and provide logistical details. You can also sign up to volunteer at the event.

Is there a fee to attend? No, completely free of charge.
Will the event be in Mandarin or English? The event will be conducted primarily in Mandarin, with some content in English as well. We will share more details closer to the event.
Will food and drinks be provided? The event will serve a vegan lunch, along with morning and afternoon tea breaks with water and snacks.
