This one-day event brings people together around effective altruism (EA), a growing global movement dedicated to doing good more effectively. Geneva is a city built on international cooperation, and this summit is for people here who want to think deeply about how to do the most good with the resources they have. You'll hear from inspiring speakers who have built their careers around that question, and leave motivated by the ideas and the community you’ve connected with

This is how our application process works:
- Select your ticket and complete a short application (~5-15 minutes)
- Our team will review your application and will be in touch with you within 10 working days.
- You’ll receive an email with our decision and more information. Only if accepted, your card will be charged at that point.
Ticket Pricing
Please note that attendance is subject to a short manual approval process. After purchasing a ticket, you’ll receive confirmation within 10 working days, at which point your card will be charged.
Recognizing that everyone's financial situation is different, we use an honor system for our ticket pricing, meaning you can select the ticket price that best aligns with your current financial situation. We trust our attendees to make a choice that's fair for them and also supports us in continuing to host these events.

Who is this event for
EA Summit Geneva is designed primarily for Geneva-based professionals with a policy-related, international background, with little or no prior EA exposure.
This event might be especially useful for:
- Professionals in global health and development, humanitarian response, biosecurity, AI, animal welfare, or related fields, interested in using their skills to address some of the world’s most pressing problems.
- Researchers and academics working on policy-relevant questions excited about applying critical thinking to complex social problems.
- People already working in effective altruism related roles that are interested in networking and providing mentorship during the conference, or in supporting regional efforts.
- Recent graduates or final-year students in international relations, public health, development, law, or a related field, who want to start building the connections and thinking that will shape their career.

Program
The Summit programme runs from 09:00 to 18:00 on Saturday, 24 October, in English. The full agenda will be published soon. Here's what to expect:
- Sessions built around real decisions rather than surveys of causes – how people weigh trade-offs and choose where their work will matter most.
- Frameworks for weighing trade-offs and judging impact, drawn from how people apply them across their work.
- Peers who changed career, or changed how they work, to do more good: what the move cost them, what surprised them, what they'd do differently. The stories span global health to AI safety, humanitarian response to animal welfare.
- Structured 1-1s and small groups where the conversation centres on your own career or work, not a general Q&A.
- One concrete next step to leave with – a specific opportunity, a connection, or something to try in your current role on Monday.
