EA Summit: Buenos Aires is Argentina's first dedicated effective altruism (EA) conference, bringing together students, researchers, entrepreneurs, professionals, nonprofit leaders, and policymakers who are interested in using evidence and careful reasoning to have a greater positive impact on the world. Whether you're new to effective altruism or have been engaging with its ideas for years, this one-day summit offers a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and explore some of the world's most pressing challenges alongside a growing community of impact-driven individuals from Argentina.
The summit will be conducted in Spanish.
Application Process
Applications are now open! Here's what you can expect:

Complete a short application (~5 minutes). We collect basic information about your background, interests, and motivation for attending. Prior knowledge of effective altruism is not required. We welcome applicants who are curious about how to make a meaningful difference through their careers, projects, research, or donations.

Our team will review your application. We aim to respond within 14 days. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early.

Register for the conference (~5 minutes). If accepted, you will receive an email with instructions to complete your registration and confirm your attendance. At this stage, you will also be able to indicate dietary requirements, accessibility needs, and interest in volunteering.
There is no registration fee to attend EA Summit: Buenos Aires. The event, meals, and conference materials will be provided at no cost. Travel support is limited and may not be available for all participants. Attendees should plan to cover their own transportation and accommodation expenses unless otherwise specified.
