A 6-month research internship (Aug 2026–Jan 2027) at the Clingendael Institute in The Hague, supporting policy-oriented research on violence, authoritarianism, and transformation in the Middle East.
- Assist data research on migration, substate governance, political violence, and radicalization, including quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Support research on modernization efforts in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, as well as regional dynamics involving Syria, Israel, Iran, and GCC states
- Contribute to visualizing research findings through infographics and data dashboards, and help organize research events
- Receive a stipend of €550 gross/month (36 hrs/week) and the opportunity to produce an independent publication
