MATS Research is hiring a Community Manager in London to build a supportive, thriving environment for early-career AI safety researchers.
- Wellbeing & relationships: Conduct 1-on-1s with fellows to provide emotional support, surface feedback, and address community health concerns
- Events & community building: Organize and run socials, networking events, and workshops (e.g. board game nights, lightning talks, speed networking)
- Strategy & collaboration: Develop and execute London's community strategy as the first Community hire in the office, working closely with the London Director and Community Lead
- Compensation & perks: £55,000–£90,000/year, private medical insurance (including dental and vision), and lunch and dinner provided Monday–Friday
