Perimeter is hiring an associate scientist II to execute and scale DNA/RNA sequencing workflows as part of its AI-powered biosecurity infrastructure platform, based in Boston, MA.
  • Sequencing workflows - run and scale viral whole genome sequencing (WGS) and other NGS workflows from sample intake through data delivery, following established SOPs
  • Cross-functional collaboration - work alongside scientists, bioinformaticians, and engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve lab processes
  • Quality and compliance - maintain lab notebooks, monitor QC results, and take corrective action to uphold production-grade standards
  • Growth and automation - contribute to SOP revisions, participate in automation efforts, and develop new sequencing workflows across multiple NGS platforms
