                Black in AI Safety & Ethics (BASE) is seeking part-time, remote mentors with experience in AI safety, security, or governance to guide fellows from the Black diaspora through applied research projects.
                • Mentorship & guidance
                  • Support a fellow’s project with weekly 1:1 meetings, feedback, and research direction
                • Impact on talent pipeline
                  • Help develop emerging researchers in AI alignment, security, or governance
                • Flexible commitment
                  • ~1 hour/week during the mentorship phase (October 19 to December 18)
                • Community & mission
                  • Contribute to BASE’s work building a stronger, more representative AI safety ecosystem
