Description
The CEPI Global South Fellowship Programme: Biosecurity offers early- to mid-career professionals from select countries in Africa, Latin America, and Asia the opportunity to contribute to global pandemic preparedness and biosecurity while remaining employed at their current institution.
  • Fellows will collaborate remotely with CEPI teams, contribute to biosecurity strategy and implementation, and participate in international forums and training.
  • The fellowship is full-time (up to 1 year, starting January 2026), with flexibility for part-time arrangements if needed.
  • Applicants must be based in and from eligible countries, have experience in biosecurity/biosafety, and secure a supporting letter from their employer (Host Institution).
  • CEPI reimburses the Host Institution for salary and related costs; no additional honorarium is provided, but travel and fellowship-related expenses are covered.
No visa sponsorship is required, as fellows remain in their home country and current employment.
