IPA's Right-Fit Evidence Unit is seeking an Advisor to deliver MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) advisory services to development sector implementers and funders across Africa and Asia.
- Strengthen partner MEL capabilities by developing Theories of Change, MEL frameworks, and providing hands-on coaching, training, and workshop facilitation
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to foundations, NGOs, governments, and businesses to help them use data and evidence for decision-making
- Build stakeholder relationships and collaborate across IPA country offices, policy, and research teams to promote coordination and shared learning
- Contribute to business development by scoping new engagements, designing methodologies, and drafting concept notes or proposals
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience in MEL, data analysis, consulting, or research; a Master's degree and prior consultancy experience are preferred. Candidates must have English fluency and the ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Visa note: This position is open to candidates based in Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Kenya, Nigeria, the Philippines, and Uganda. Strong preference will be given to candidates with existing permanent work authorization in the country where they wish to be based.
