                The Center for AI Safety (CAIS) is hiring a full-time, on-site Program Manager in San Francisco to lead impactful projects advancing the AI safety field.
                • Role scope - manage a diverse portfolio of projects including fellowships, workshops, publications, convenings, and policy initiatives, from early scoping through delivery
                • Ownership - independently develop project plans, manage budgets and timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and proactively identify and mitigate risks
                • Ideal candidate - 3+ years of project management experience; adaptable, highly organized, and motivated by AI safety and risk reduction
                • Compensation & benefits - $110,000–$150,000 salary, health insurance, 401K with 4% match, unlimited PTO, office meals, and an annual professional development stipend
