A senior executive-level opportunity with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) to lead the Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation Research & Development program in Washington, DC, with a salary of $199,172–$228,000/year.
- Lead a complex R&D portfolio supporting nuclear nonproliferation, counterproliferation, and nuclear counterterrorism, including developing technical capabilities at DOE National Laboratories
- Oversee budget planning and execution for all nonproliferation R&D activities, and manage a diverse mix of civilian, military, and contractor staff
- Drive interagency coordination across federal departments, national laboratories, and academia to leverage the full technology enterprise
- Requires a DOE Q security clearance, financial disclosure filing, and must meet both Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and two Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs) focused on nuclear security R&D leadership
