The Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) is offering a paid, in-person internship in Vienna for graduate students and recent graduates with an interest in nuclear non-proliferation, disarmament, and related policy issues.
- Stipend - selected intern receives a monthly stipend of 1,000 Euro, medical insurance coverage, and relocation/travel expenses where applicable
- Research - intern develops and implements an independent research project on nuclear non-proliferation, disarmament, or peaceful nuclear technologies, supervised by VCDNP researchers
- Exposure - opportunity to work alongside senior experts and interact with professionals from the IAEA, CTBTO, and other international organisations, as well as government and academic representatives
- Duration - up to six months, ideally starting October 2026; applications from women and candidates from developing countries are strongly encouraged
