A senior leadership opportunity at Evidence Action to drive program excellence and country-level strategy across Nigeria's multi-state public health portfolio, based in Abuja.
- Lead program operations: Oversee day-to-day implementation across all active states, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based service delivery and managing a team that includes Zonal Managers, a Nutrition Program Manager, and a Policy & Government Relations Senior Associate
- Deputize for the Country Director: Assume full country leadership responsibilities during absences and translate strategic objectives into operational plans with clear timelines and accountabilities
- Engage government & stakeholders: Represent Evidence Action in national and state-level forums, cultivate partnerships with ministries of health, implementing partners, and civil society organizations
- Drive financial stewardship: Support annual budgeting, lead Budget-vs-Actual analyses, and ensure appropriate financial controls across donor-funded programs
Requirements: Advanced degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field; at least 7 years of program management experience in international development or public health, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role; proven track record managing complex, multi-site programs in Nigeria and/or Sub-Saharan Africa.
