A remote contract opportunity for an experienced global health professional to provide technical assistance to Evidence Action's Syphilis Free Start program, supporting Global Fund (GC8) proposal development and congenital syphilis elimination efforts in Kenya and other focal countries.
- Stakeholder engagement: Maintain and map relationships with Ministries of Health, Global Fund country coordinating mechanisms, and development partners to advocate for dual/triple elimination (HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B) prioritization
- GC8 proposal support: Participate in planning, budgeting, and proposal writing meetings; provide technical input on integrating HIV/syphilis dual tests and benzathine penicillin into funding requests; and support drafting of PMTCT and congenital syphilis elimination sections
- Technical analysis: Conduct commodity quantification, review costing and cost-benefit analyses, and utilize Evidence Action tools such as quantification calculators and policy alignment frameworks
- Reporting: Submit monthly progress reports, share technical documents, and contribute to cross-country learning; reports directly to Evidence Action's Associate Director of Syphilis-Free Start
