Description
- In this role, you'll assist the Legislative Affairs Program in developing and implementing strategies to further animal protection through the legal system.
- Research policy issues, develop briefs, and analyze state legislation or regulation.
- Prepare correspondence and assist with outreach to supporters, coalition partners, and public officials.
- Attend virtual public hearings, coalition calls, stakeholder meetings, and advocacy events.
- Collaborate with other departments to create content for campaigns, including website updates, action alerts, and advocacy training materials.
