If you’re a student or remote employee, consider inviting EAs in your region to meet for a tandem work session, where people work individually, but also support each other when doing so is helpful.
Individuals have used these sessions to create local EA communities where they hadn't existed before, and local groups have used them to simultaneously promote group bonding and productivity. If you have large projects to work on — deciding which charities to support or which careers to pursue, clearing a major work backlog — consider structuring the work session as an all-day personal hackathon. If you can’t gather a group in person, you can join the EA online coworking space instead.
