__Application details__

- Default ticket price: £200 GBP
- For an automatic 25% ticket discount, register by the early bird application deadline: 4th August 2023 (11:59pm EST)
- Discounts are available — you can select from a range of ticket price options during checkout
- All applications for this event will receive a response by 15th October 2023 at the latest

__Approximate schedule__

The event will begin with a opening reception on the Friday (but you can arrive at any time during the weekend).
Saturday and Sunday will have full-day schedules with content finishing at around 6pm on Sunday evening.

The agenda includes:

- Talks and discussions on the latest ideas at the frontiers of the EA movement (past examples available [here](https://www.youtube.com/c/EffectiveAltruismVideos))
- Workshops to help improve your thinking and execution
- Meetups, networking, and social activities

__Our COVID policy__

We are not currently imposing any COVID restrictions, though we recommend attendees to be up to date with WHO-approved vaccines.

__Travel expenses__

We are prepared to reimburse travel expenses for some attendees. Please do apply for support if the cost of attending feels a bit too high for your budget. You can apply for financial assistance for your travel expenses in the application form. __We’d like to invite you to this year’s Central-Eastern European EAGx!__

The Polish Effective Altruism community has grown rapidly over the last couple years. We’re very excited to support the community by hosting the very first EAGx event in Poland!
EAGxWarsaw will take place this June, 9th to 11th in [Polin](https://www.google.com/maps/place/POLIN+Museum+of+the+History+of+Polish+Jews/@52.2492299,20.9936657,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0xe21ada43504430b0?sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiNhuC01dP8AhWrmIsKHfnUCtMQ_BJ6BAhxEAg) - the conference centre attached to the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw. Please come join us!

### Who is this event for?

We’d like to welcome EAs and EA-adjacent individuals who make helping others a core part of their lives. In the first place we would like to invite people from our region. We want to gather ambitious activists, scholars and students from countries like Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine.

We are also open and very happy to host people from places like Austria, Germany, the rest of Europe or even from the whole world - just please be aware that our capacity is limited to 500 guests, so in case of an overwhelming interest we will be prioritising applicants who have a stake in our region. But as always - when unsure, please apply!

### Approximate schedule

The conference will start on Friday, 9th of June at about 6pm, with pre-registration opening a couple hours earlier. The Friday programme will consist mostly of a career fair. Then for Saturday and Sunday the majority of the workshops, meetups, talks and discussion will take place. The closing talk is scheduled for 6pm on Sunday the 11th, after which social activities will commence.
A more detailed agenda will be presented closer to the conference, via Swapcard.

### Travel expenses

We are prepared to reimburse travel expenses for those who need it to attend the conference. __EAGxNordics will be hosted at Munchenbryggeriet, Stockholm on April 21.-23. 2023__

We are excited to invite attendees from the Nordics and beyond. If you’re from outside the Nordics, we encourage you to apply if you believe you may be able to provide peer advice and mentorship relevant to working on pressing problems, operations, entrepreneurship, and community health.

We have limited travel funding available, which we will prioritize allocating to attendees travelling from within the Nordics. Please apply for travel support only if you cannot attend without it.
