Applications Closed
We are currently not accepting new applications for Community Building Grants. We expect to reopen applications around January 2021, though we haven't confirmed a timeline for this yet. We are still accepting applications for renewed funding for groups that have previously received a grant.
We're happy to talk to prospective applicants, and will keep the expression of interest form open for prospective applicants to reach out. If you have an urgent application for funding, please contact harri.besceli@centreforeffectivealtruism.org
Community Building Grants Overview
Effective Altruism Community Building Grants is a project run by the Centre for Effective Altruism (CEA), providing grants of between $5,000 and $100,000 to individuals and groups doing local effective altruism community building. We have a particular emphasis on funding groups aiming to transition from being run by volunteers to being run by full-time paid organizers.
